Abstract

In a business world that requires a lot of manpower, such as construction projects, occupational health and safety is often ignored by business owners for various reasons, including that the costs for occupational health and safety for workers are considered expensive. This is of course very concerning considering that there are many work accidents in construction projects. In this research, a study was conducted on occupational safety and health in the construction project of the Police Resort Building (Resort Police) in Malacca Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of success in implementing the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) and to find out the factors that cause delays in implementing SMK3. The method used to measure the success rate of implementing SMK3 on the implementation of the Malacca District Police Masko development project is by using thescoring weighting method. From the results of this evaluation, it can be obtained that the success of the analysis of the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System is 98.67% and is considered good and meets the requirements.
